Michael Patterson is Senior Vice President of Databricks and AI Platforms at Definian, where he is building and scaling the company’s Databricks practice. He brings more than 30 years of experience in enterprise data, including data architecture and technology leadership roles at United Airlines, Chicago Public Schools, and TransUnion, and strategic account leadership at Red Hat, Confluent, and Materialize. Most recently, he was Vice President at Perficient, where he led the AI and Data Platforms.
Outside of work, Michael is a husband and father who enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast and has served as a safety instructor for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
Michael restores vintage cars and motorcycles, including a 1964 BMW motorcycle and a 1979 Porsche. Too many toys, not enough time.
